Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics/RRT

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional for a position involving respiratory and neuro diagnostics. This role requires dedication and expertise in managing adult and pediatric patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Blood gas collection
• Ventilator initiation and management
• BiPAP initiation and management
• High-flow therapy initiation and management
• Code response
• In-house patient transport
• Medication administration
• Chest physiotherapy (Chest PT)
• Equipment experience: Servo-I, Servo-U, V60 BiPAP
• Charting system: EPIC
• Float expectations: Will float between PICU, Emergency Department, Adult Critical Care; may float to additional units based on skill set and hospital needs

Requirements

• Minimum 1.5 years of experience required
• PICU/NICU experience highly preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• Active New Jersey license required
• BLS required
• NBRC required
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP highly preferred; travelers may obtain these certifications onsite

Schedule

• Shift: 3x12s
• Weekends: Every other weekend (Friday/Saturday)
• Time off: All requested time off must be submitted with the submittal and approved prior to offer
