About the role

This role is open to both Respiratory Therapists and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), offering flexibility and accessibility for clinicians with varying backgrounds. The opportunity to support multiple locations and patient types provides strong clinical exposure and development.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and follow-ups
  • Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance
  • Assess patient needs, document care delivered, and escalate concerns appropriately
  • Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs
  • Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation using iPad/laptop
  • Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment, including, but not limited to, oxygen therapy, nebulization therapy, apnea monitoring, suctioning, PAP, invasive and non-invasive ventilation
  • Inspect and test equipment to ensure proper operating condition
  • Perform clinical assessments and tests such as pulse oximetry, ETCO2, spirometry and gathering vital signs
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

Registered Respiratory Therapist with an active MO RT license or LPN (preferred with Respiratory experience).

Open to all experience levels, including new graduates.

Ability to stand, lift, push and/or pull objects ranging from 10 – 50 lbs.

Valid driver's license

Comfortable using mobile technology, navigation tools, and digital documentation

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program or Licensed Practical Nurses.

Certificates, licenses, registrations or professional designations

  • Hold a current RCP license in the state of practice (or states that the location covers)
  • If that state requires an RCP license to allow the practice of respiratory therapy
  • Hold a current CPR Certification
  • Hold all applicable licensure in good standing for all states of practice

Skills

Knowledge of respiratory equipment and techniques

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

Salary range $30 - $33 per hour. Compensation offered may vary based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.

Schedule

On-site; 60% office / 40% field

Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
