Respiratory Care Therapist I
About the role
Provide respiratory care to all patients in the Infant ICU, Pediatric ICU, ED, Medical, Surgical, Hem/Onc and Rehab units. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified external candidates with 2+ years of experience in Level III or IV neonatal ICU, pediatric ICU, pediatric only inpatient acute care unit, and/or pediatric ED.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to all patients in the Infant ICU, Pediatric ICU, ED, Medical, Surgical, Hem/Onc and Rehab units.
- Required Education/Experience: Associate's degree in Respiratory Care from an AMA approved school of Respiratory Care.
- Required Credentials: Registered Respiratory Therapist with the National Board of Respiratory Care. Current Washington State Respiratory Care Practitioner license. BLS for Healthcare Providers or current PALS certification.
- PREFERRED: One (1) year current critical care experience-adult, pediatric or neonatal. PALS, NRP, and/or Neonatal/Pediatric Specialty credential from the NBRC. Bachelors degree in Respiratory Care or other health related field.

Pay
Compensation Range: $43.01 - $69.61 per hour
Schedule
Salary Information: This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
