Responsibilities

  • Perform all NICU respiratory therapy procedures and attend high-risk deliveries
  • Perform arterial/capillary blood gas puncture and analysis
  • Draw samples from umbilical and radial lines per completed annual competency
  • Perform all diagnostic procedures specific to NICU or pediatric population
  • Attend all deliveries as scheduled

Requirements

  • Competent in use of all respiratory therapy modalities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Current CA RCP license
  • Current BLS, PALS, and NRP provider cards
  • AS degree in Respiratory Therapy
  • Two years’ experience in NICU or completion of NICU training course (didactic/clinical training)
  • Current neonatal intubation competency with a minimum of two documented successful neonatal intubations over the last year

Pay

Opening pay range: $36.47 to $58.35 per hour.
