Respiratory Care Practitioner - RRT - PRN

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a PRN night shift position in the Respiratory Therapy department.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, develop and implement treatment plans based on diagnosis and physician orders.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust care, and document conditions.
• Perform advanced respiratory care modalities and evaluate treatment outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and community resources.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment, manage supplies, and ensure safety protocols.
• Respond to medical emergencies and rapid response situations.
• Perform general duties as assigned, working in a constant state of alertness.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent experience.
• Relevant professional licenses and certifications, including BLS, RRT, and state-specific licensure.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, and equipment maintenance.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

Night shift, no set schedule.
