About the Role
A Respiratory Care Practitioner provides evaluation and treatment for pediatric patients, administering prescribed respiratory therapies in accordance with physician orders, policies, and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and develop and implement care plans
- Monitor patient progress and evaluate treatment outcomes
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and community resources
- Maintain and calibrate equipment
- Respond to medical emergencies
- Ensure safety standards are met
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent experience
- Valid licensure including BLS, RRT, and Respiratory Care Practitioner credentials
- No prior experience necessary
- Physical capability to frequently stand, walk, lift, and use sensory skills such as vision and hearing
Schedule
Night shift role with weekend options, including weekend premium pay.
