Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT)

About the Role

A Respiratory Care Practitioner provides evaluation and treatment for pediatric patients, administering prescribed respiratory therapies in accordance with physician orders, policies, and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop and implement care plans
• Monitor patient progress and evaluate treatment outcomes
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and community resources
• Maintain and calibrate equipment
• Respond to medical emergencies
• Ensure safety standards are met

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent experience
• Valid licensure including BLS, RRT, and Respiratory Care Practitioner credentials
• No prior experience necessary
• Physical capability to frequently stand, walk, lift, and use sensory skills such as vision and hearing

Schedule

Night shift role with weekend options, including weekend premium pay.
