Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT)

About the role

We are seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT) to evaluate and provide respiratory therapy services on a PRN basis.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient respiratory needs and develop individualized care plans
• Administer prescribed respiratory treatments and medications
• Monitor patient progress and evaluate treatment outcomes
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and disease management
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory therapy equipment
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and provide critical care support
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with regulatory standards

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Valid licensure and certifications: RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist), BLS (Basic Life Support), and state-specific respiratory care license

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Capability to lift, reach, and perform repetitive movements
• Use of vision, hearing, and smell to assess patient conditions
• Occasional patient lifting and mobility assistance
• Ability to drive as needed for job-related duties

Schedule

Night shift, PRN schedule with a weekly commitment of 24 hours, including rotating weekends and holidays.
