About the Role

Provides comprehensive respiratory therapy care, evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and administering prescribed therapies. Ensures patient safety and monitors progress, adjusting care as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patient needs and implementing treatment protocols
• Managing respiratory equipment and evaluating outcomes
• Educating patients and families about health conditions and community resources
• Responding to medical emergencies
• Maintaining equipment and inventory

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent experience
• Valid RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) license
• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Respiratory Care Practitioner license
• No prior experience necessary

Skills

• Strong communication and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain alertness
• Physical stamina for lifting and movement
• Proficiency in equipment maintenance
