Respiratory Care Practitioner - PRN

About the Role

Provides respiratory care, management, diagnostic evaluation, and patient education under medical direction. Conducts assessments, develops and implements personalized care plans, and documents patient outcomes. Demonstrates professionalism and ensures high-quality care in the pulmonary rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans
• Provide respiratory therapy treatments and patient education
• Evaluate and document therapy outcomes
• Maintain professional responsibility and adhere to safety standards

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Care
• 1-3 years of experience in respiratory care
• Maryland Respiratory Care Practitioner Licensure
• American Heart Association CPR, ACLS/BLS certifications
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
• Knowledgeable in specialized respiratory therapy practices
