About the Role
The Respiratory Care Practitioner - RRT provides treatment, management, diagnostic evaluation, and care for patients with cardio-pulmonary deficiencies under medical supervision.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ cardio-pulmonary status
- Develop and implement personalized care plans
- Provide and document respiratory treatments and education
- Evaluate treatment outcomes and adjust care accordingly
- Maintain professional standards and documentation
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Care
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in Maryland
- Certification in CPR, ACLS/BLS from the American Heart Association
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
