About the Role
The Department-based Respiratory Therapist is expected to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of contemporary Respiratory Therapy principles. He/She will collaborate with Physicians and Nurses in planning and implementing the patient plan of care. He/She may assist the Physician with the delivery and direction of Respiratory Therapy, operate and maintain complex ventilatory support systems, monitoring and resuscitation devices, respiratory care procedures and patient assessments, diagnostic procedures and oxygen therapy. He/She may also perform other patient care functions for which he/she is qualified.
Requirements
- Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
Skills
Comprehensive understanding of contemporary Respiratory Therapy principles, ability to collaborate with Physicians and Nurses, ability to assist the Physician with the delivery and direction of Respiratory Therapy, ability to operate and maintain complex ventilatory support systems, monitoring and resuscitation devices, respiratory care procedures and patient assessments, diagnostic procedures and oxygen therapy, ability to perform other patient care functions for which he/she is qualified.

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. The base pay range is $35.47 - $57.13. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
