About the role

Adventist Health Ukiah Valley has been deeply connected to the community since 1956. We are comprised of a 50-bed acute care medical center, level IV trauma center, level II intensive care nursery services, extensive physical rehabilitation program, outpatient surgery and diagnostic center and advanced wound care center. Responsibilities

  • Performs basic and critical respiratory care services.
  • Works well without supervision as well as maintains supervision over others, as delegated.
  • Provides respiratory care services for the adult and geriatric patient.
  • Provides respiratory care for patients with respiratory disease, as ordered by the physician and in accordance with current department policies concerning all phases of respiratory therapy.
  • Completes paperwork, electronic medical records, flow sheets, and charges for each patient.

Requirements

  • Education and Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor's): Preferred Master's Degree: Preferred Three years' technical experience: Preferred
  • Licenses/Certifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT) credential or Certified Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-CRT) credential: Required in CA, OR, and HI Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license: Required in CA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required

Pay

The estimated base pay for this position is $42.79 to $58.69. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
