The RCP II is defined as an RCP that has acquired the Registered Respiratory Therapist credential (RRT) from the National Board of Respiratory Care. This role provides routine, emergent and critical (neonatal to adult) respiratory care to the area of assignment under the direction of the Respiratory Care Management.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited College, in the field of Respiratory Therapy.
- Training specific to area of assignment.
- California Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
- National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
- Experience in an acute (routine and critical) respiratory care setting.
