Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory treatments (oxygen, aerosol, airway management)
- Manage ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, high-flow oxygen systems
- Perform pulmonary diagnostics (ABGs, PFTs)
- Implement and document patient-specific respiratory care plans
- Respond to emergency code blue and rapid response events
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Potentially serve as Lead RCP during shifts
Qualifications & Skills
- State RCP license and NBRC RRT certification required
- Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS certifications; NRP and ≥2 years experience preferred
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred; High school diploma required
- Strong clinical skills in respiratory therapy and diagnostics
