About the role

The Respiratory Care Assistant will work only under direct supervision of a licensed RCP. They perform routine therapy, and diagnostic procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals and maintain all equipment in working order. They also perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

  • Must be a Senior RT Student from an Accredited Respiratory Therapy Program and have a provisional license in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care
  • Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification
  • Minimum of one year completion of Respiratory curriculum in an accredited program

  • Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn
