Join the Respiratory Team at BJC Healthcare's Barnes Jewish Hospital as a Respiratory Care Assistant. This is a perfect opportunity for respiratory students to gain experience!

Responsibilities

• Performs various basic routine diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures in the general care areas according to established standards, procedures, guidelines and policies.
• Recognizes and seeks assistance with abnormal findings and/or changes in patient status to other healthcare team members.
• Effectively communicates by participating in the exchange of information including documentation, handoff and works collaboratively with the healthcare team.
• Holds self-accountable and seeks out opportunities for continuous learning and feedback and is able to prioritize and apply effective time management.
• Processes equipment according to manufacturer and industry standards.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in a Respiratory School Program.
• PRN schedule will work around school curriculum.
• Hands on experience overview provided.

Qualifications

• No Experience Required.
• No Supervisor Experience Required.

Skills

• Basic Cardiovascular Life Support (BCLS).
• Resp Educatnl Permit-MO Only.

Pay

• $20/hr For Less Than 1 Year of Experience.
• $21 For Greater Than 1 Year of Experience.
