Respiratory Assistant

Responsibilities

• Screen patients and monitor their respiratory status.
• Administer treatments and medications as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Assist in the preparation and administration of oxygen therapy.
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Current certification as a Respiratory Therapist from a recognized organization.
• At least one year of relevant clinical experience in a hospital setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
