Responsibilities
- To perform high level clinical respiratory care under indirect technical supervision as assigned by the supervisor or team leader.
- Demonstrates a strong approach to all network initiatives and serves as a role model for Kettering Health Network (KHN) mission, vision, and values.
- Performs various respiratory procedures on a day-to-day basis under indirect supervision for all age groups as specified per campus departmental policy.
- Exercises good independent clinical judgment and discretion in applying and interpreting policies and procedures.
- Maintains productivity at or above required levels.
- Affirms correct documentation of all records.
- Occasionally performs the role of Lead Therapist, shift Team Leader, or clinical Instructor as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum Education: Graduates of a 2–4-year AMA approved Respiratory Program.
- Licenses: [Ohio, United States] Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist, Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner for the State of Ohio.
- Credentials: Active AARC member must demonstrate acute/critical care knowledge as it relates to cardiopulmonary diseases, involved in precepting acute/critical care areas, supervisor capabilities, current BLS with ACLS, P, and NRP for respective work area.
