About the role
KPMG in Canada is seeking a Resource Specialist to join the National Tax Resource Management Team within Private Enterprise Core Services (PECS).
Responsibilities
- Maintain staffing schedules and process resource requests
- Coordinate resource requirements by participating in staff and manager planning meetings
- Resolve scheduling conflicts and collaborate with stakeholders across the practice to support resource allocation
- Monitor staff availability, skills, interests, and capacity to support workforce planning decisions
- Prepare, distribute, and analyze staffing reports and workforce planning information
- Support projects, meetings, communications, and other operational initiatives across the National Tax Resource Management Team
Requirements
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI, including data extraction, manipulation, and reporting
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience working in a professional services or client-focused environment
- Knowledge of resource management, forecasting, or workforce planning tools is considered an asset
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment
