About the role

KPMG in Canada is seeking a Resource Specialist to join the National Tax Resource Management Team within Private Enterprise Core Services (PECS).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain staffing schedules and process resource requests
  • Coordinate resource requirements by participating in staff and manager planning meetings
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts and collaborate with stakeholders across the practice to support resource allocation
  • Monitor staff availability, skills, interests, and capacity to support workforce planning decisions
  • Prepare, distribute, and analyze staffing reports and workforce planning information
  • Support projects, meetings, communications, and other operational initiatives across the National Tax Resource Management Team

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI, including data extraction, manipulation, and reporting
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience working in a professional services or client-focused environment
  • Knowledge of resource management, forecasting, or workforce planning tools is considered an asset
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment

  • Pay Range: $55,000 to $82,000
  • Eligible for bonus awards
