Key Responsibilities
- Utilize Dispatch Reports, Line Scheduling Reports, and MES tools to manage daily scheduling activities.
- Utilize Palantir for enhanced data analysis parts shortages and expedites.
- Collaborate with Operations Manager and Shift Supervisors to align workforce with production order demands.
- Review, assess, and communicate accurate dates for expedite requests.
- Attend, participate and lead TVM Huddles
- Review non-conformances to identify and mitigate part shortages.
- Communicate proactively with pieceworkers to ensure consistent part availability.
- Create and maintain a monthly build plan to support production forecasting.
- Monitor piecework postings/production orders and on hand counts to help with the accuracy of inventory.
- Collaborate with New Products and Engineering teams to align alpha and beta builds for new product launches.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve overdue orders and material shortages.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Master Data, Production Planning, and IT to ensure SAP data accuracy and integrity.
- Ensure daily production requirements are met through proactive planning and communication.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Production Planning Department.
Quality Assurance
- Understand and uphold the company’s Quality Policy and departmental quality procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant specifications and standards.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A high school diploma/GED or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
- Strong working knowledge of production and shop floor control systems.
- Familiarity with component parts and finished goods.
- Understanding of ROP, Visual, PULL replenishment systems.
- Proficient in SAP, MES, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power BI.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
- Consistent and reliable attendance is essential.
