Responsibilities
- Oversight of the scheduling function for the Small Business Advisory Service Line, including long-term and day-to-day resource planning, job assignments, reassignments, and resource pool management.
- Development and management of weekly staffing commitments for resource pools, monitoring utilization and workload capacity, and collaboration with leaders to ensure assignments are appropriately staffed and progressing as planned.
- Cross-functional coordination of resource allocation across teams, balancing workloads, client deadlines, employee preferences, and industry specialization to maximize efficiency and service delivery.
- Monitoring staffing demands and scheduling conflicts, proactively identifying and resolving resource constraints to support client service objectives.
- Optimization of offshore and shared-service staffing, ensuring resources are effectively utilized and aligned with operational needs.
- Utilization of project management and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) to improve resource management processes and workforce planning initiatives.
- Optimization of charge hour attainment, capacity management, and overall resource utilization while promoting equitable workload distribution across the service line.
- Support for the operational integration of merged or acquired firms, including workforce planning, resource alignment, and adoption of firm resource management processes.
- Fostering cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement while helping align resource management practices with the firm's strategic goals and growth initiatives.
Requirements
- A minimum bachelor's degree in accounting or business or related field.
- A minimum of three years of public accounting experience and/or tax operations management.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with success managing teams greater than 100 employees.
- Proven technical proficiency with experience working with relevant platforms (examples: Workday, Power, BI, Monday.com) and public accounting systems.
Qualifications
- Salary range: Between $65,000 and $75,000, commensurate with experience.
- Hours of operation: Office hours from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday; Summer hours from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with Flex Friday scheduling available.

Pay
$65,000 - $75,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Office hours from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday; Summer hours from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with Flex Friday scheduling available.
