RESOURCE NURSE (RN) - PRE-OP/PACU

About the role

The schedule will be 3 - 12 hour shifts. This position will support the PACU department, Endoscopy Department, and Inpatient Unit.

Responsibilities

• Direct and/or provide professional nursing care for an assigned group of patients across the age continuum.
• Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to direct or provide nursing care.
• Oversee a specific department within a healthcare facility for their assigned shift.
• Delegating nursing assignments, preparing schedules, overseeing admissions and discharges, and monitoring and ordering medicines and supplies.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in the State of Idaho
• Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• ACLS certification within six months of employment
• PALS certification within six months of employment
• Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards
• Awareness of professional nursing standards and performing in accordance with them
• 3-5 years of nursing experience required
• Ultrasound guided IV placement skills are preferred

Qualifications

• Average of 3-5 years of nursing experience
