Resource Nurse (LPN/RN) Sante of North Scottsdale PT

About the role

The Resource Nurse coordinates clinical activities to develop and sustain an environment that promotes excellence in clinical practice and customer service, while striving for optimal efficiency, productivity, and utilization of all resources. Utilizes the nursing process, leadership skills, and current evidence-based clinical knowledge to assess health needs, collaborate with the health team, anticipate outcomes of nursing interventions, and set criteria for the quality of patient care. May also assume other duties as a licensed nurse, as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Works within the interdisciplinary team structure to complete the guest’s initial Plan of Care at the time of admission.
• Assists with the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the guest care area/unit orientation.
• Utilizes material, equipment, and time in a safe, beneficial, and cost-effective manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Prior to date of hire, must hold a current, valid nursing license (Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse) through the Arizona State Board of Nursing, or hold a compact RN or LPN license. Must maintain valid nursing licensure throughout employment.
• CPR certification required at time of hire.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Minimum of three (3) years LPN experience in an LTC/SNF/Rehab setting. If an LPN, the ability to obtain RN licensure through the AZ State Board of Nursing within six (6) months to one (1) year of hire is highly preferred.
• OR current RN licensure through the AZ State Board of Nursing with a minimum of one (1) year experience in an LTC/SNF/Rehab setting.

Pay

USD $38.00 - USD $40.00 per hour.
