About the role
The Resource Efficiency Manager (REM) is responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of resource efficiency initiatives across the organization. This includes analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing new strategies to reduce waste and enhance operational efficiency.Responsibilities
- Develop and implement resource efficiency plans that align with organizational goals.
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in resource usage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on resource efficiency objectives.
- Monitor progress against set targets and adjust strategies as necessary.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on best practices for resource management.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in resource efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in resource management or sustainability roles.
- Proven ability to lead and manage projects from conception to completion.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration among various departments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
