Resort Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving & Inspection: Unload trucks, scan items, and verify incoming freight against purchase orders for accuracy.
• Inventory Distribution: Distribute delivered items (supplies, food, linens) to the appropriate departments efficiently.
• Loading & Shipping: Package and label outgoing items, arrange logistics for guest packages or vendor returns.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all transactions using computer systems.
• Inventor Control: Perform daily or weekly cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory levels.
• Safety & Maintenance: Keep the loading dock clean, safe, and organized.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Physical Strength: Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Organization: Strong attention to detail for verifying shipments and inventory.
• Computer Literacy: Proficiency with inventory management software.
• Communication: Ability to work with suppliers and internal departments.
• Experience: Previous shipping/receiving, logistics, or warehouse experience, typically 1–2 years preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent bending, stooping, lifting, reaching overhead, and working in varied temperatures.
