About the role

A Resort Host’s main focus is ensuring the guest has a wonderful Loon experience. Hosts provide information on events, activities, and snow conditions, assist with skis and equipment, solve problems, and are visible and helpful in the beginner and intermediate trail areas. As a customer-focused organization, a crucial part of the role is to get and keep guests.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with information on events, activities, and snow conditions.
• Help with skis, equipment, and problem-solving in trail areas.
• Remain visible and available to guests, particularly in beginner and intermediate areas.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Resort Host Manager/Coordinator.
• Adjust working hours based on business needs (e.g., staying late during busy turnaround times).
• Commit to scheduled working days, including required holidays and weekends.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or
• One to three months of related experience and/or training; or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
