Resort Host Overnight - Full Time

About the Role

As the main arriving and departing point of contact, the resort host is responsible for registering all arriving guests and welcoming them into our home. The resort host is required to be knowledgeable in all areas of the resort, including food and beverage offerings, coordinating valet and luggage, and helping arrange activities that have not been previously arranged.

Andaz Maui at Wailea is the first resort for the Andaz brand, situated on Maui’s premier southwestern coastline along Mokapu Beach in Wailea—a sought-after leisure and resort destination. The luxury resort community includes a 1.2-mile oceanfront beach path, five crescent-shaped golden-sand beaches, a premier shopping center, and distinguished restaurants.

Responsibilities

• Register arriving guests and provide a warm welcome.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for guests during arrival and departure.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of resort amenities, including food and beverage offerings.
• Coordinate valet and luggage services for guests.
• Assist in arranging guest activities that have not been previously booked.

Qualifications

• A genuine desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Proficiency with OPERA, HotSOS, and RESERVE preferred.
• Fun, articulate personality with a great sense of humor and positive attitude.
• Strong presentation skills, essential for success in this role.
• Must be available to work primarily overnight shifts.
• Previous Front Office or Night Audit experience strongly preferred.

Pay

90-Day Introductory Rate: $25.49 per hour
Full Hourly Rate: $29.99 per hour
