About Fine Art Handcrafted Lighting Since 1940, Fine Art Handcrafted Lighting has designed and built luxury lighting entirely by hand in our Miami, Florida facility. Every fixture we make is handmade to order, and every piece that leaves our building carries our name. We are looking for craftspeople who take pride in doing detailed work the right way. About The Role We are hiring a Resin Cleaner to join our Resin Casting Department. In this role, you will take freshly cast resin pieces and bring them to finished quality by sanding, smoothing, and repairing imperfections by hand and with power tools. This is precision work. Straight lines, smooth surfaces, and an eye for the smallest flaw are what separate a good resin cleaner from a great one. If you are the type of person who notices the details other people miss and is not satisfied until the piece is right, this is the job for you. What You Will Do Clean and prepare cast resin products and components to meet quality standards, the production schedule, and daily production quotas.Operate air grinders, electric sanders, belt sanders, drill presses, and hand tools to clean and process cast pieces.Inspect each piece closely to detect imperfections such as seams, bubbles, rough edges, and surface flaws.Repair defects by patching, sanding, and reshaping products so they meet our quality standards.Use the belt sander to smooth larger production pieces and operate the drill press when assigned.Keep parts and components clean, organized, and ready for the next stage of production.Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment. What We Are Looking For Extreme attention to detail. You can spot a flaw at a glance and produce straight, even, consistent lines.Manual dexterity and a steady hand with sanding and finishing tools.Good organizational skills and the ability to keep pace with daily production quotas without sacrificing quality.Ability to follow instructions and quality standards consistently.Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working as part of a production team. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience cleaning, sanding, or finishing resin, fiberglass, plaster, wood, or similar materials is strongly preferred.Experience with air grinders, belt sanders, or drill presses in a production setting. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, move, and handle products weighing up to 40 lbs.Prolonged standing for 8 hours per day or longer.Repetitive use of hands and arms for sanding and finishing work.Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with dust, noise, and the use of protective equipment.
