Residential Youth Program Leader – Architecture & Landscape Architecture Camp
Job Description and Position Requirements
Conferences and Institutes is seeking Youth Program Leaders for Architecture & Landscape Architecture Camp to be held July 12-16 & July 19-23, 2026.
Responsibilities
- 24-hour supervision and safety of minors participating in the program
- Manage all aspects of the daily program administration
- Ensure compliance with youth policies and procedures
- Respond to emergencies and provide immediate action
- Communicate directly with Program Director and Program Manager
- Collect, store, and verify medications
- Oversight of participant health information
- Auxiliary assistance in developing instructional content and delivering lessons
- Maintain constant monitoring of participant safety, whereabouts, and actions
- Identify and respond to issues related to participant interactions, behavior, mental health, and acclimation to the program environment
- Act quickly and calmly in handling sensitive issues or information, addressing behavior issues, and following necessary notification protocols

- PA State Police Criminal Background Check
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
- Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check
Background Checks/Clearances
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
