About the role
Community Counseling Solutions provides a team-based Servant Leadership environment in Eastern Oregon. Located near the Columbia River and the Blue Mountains, it offers big city amenities in rural family-oriented communities.
Responsibilities
- Provides services and support for clients to develop appropriate skills for increased or maintained functioning.
- Maintains awareness of youth's whereabouts and monitors their activities to ensure health, safety, and welfare.
- Documents daily clinical information, completes progress notes, and conducts/facilitates group activities.
- Administers prescribed medications, conducts evacuation drills, and assists with personal hygiene activities.
- Works 1:1 with youth to develop basic life skills and tracks daily progress notes and discharge summaries.
- Follows policies and procedures, participates in seclusion/restraint practices, and assists in goal tracking.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent plus bachelor’s degree in social services or related field.
- Three years of experience or a combination of education and experience in psychology, counseling, or a related field.
- MHACBO QMHA certification within 30 days of employment.
- Ability to communicate effectively, handle confidential information, and adhere to laws and regulations.
- Good organizational and time management skills, ability to work independently, and willingness to work flexible schedules.
Qualifications
- Ability to interact and relate to youth, staff, and others with respect and dignity.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Basic computer skills to navigate and enter data into EMR.
- Ability to represent the agency in a favorable light in the community.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules and respond to crisis situations.
