About the role

Reno Behavioral Healthcare Hospital seeks mental health technicians (MHTs) to support patients in their recovery journey within the Psychiatric Residential Treatment Program (PRTF).

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic support and direct patient care in a safe, secure environment.
• Aid in the implementation of treatment plans.
• Offer attentive, compassionate care to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification prior to new hire orientation.
• Therapeutic options training prior to new hire orientation.
• Familiarity with medical and psychological terminology and human behavior principles preferred.
• Experience with therapeutic limit-setting or other behavior management modalities helpful.
• Maintain professional boundaries.

• 12 hour shifts.
