RESIDENTIAL TECHNICIAN - PART- TIME

Responsibilities
- Performs and documents all vital signs accurately and promptly
- Performs and documents hourly observations and fall risk observations promptly
- Handles admission and discharge processes for Withdrawal Management and Intensive units, including search, storage, documentation, and proper handling of patient belongings
- Ensures patients receive all possessions and medications upon discharge
- Updates the communication log, census, and other shared documents
- Assists patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Registers new patients to both programs
- Manages the nightly process in Epic, if applicable
- Manages the doctor’s list of physicals and prepares patients to see the doctor
- Maintains cleanliness of the unit, kitchenette, patient rooms, and triage
- Maintains a therapeutic, peaceful, clinical treatment environment
- Provides thorough shift-to-shift report before and after each shift
- Attends all mandatory department/agency meetings and trainings
- Performs all other duties as assigned
All agency staff must remain awake during all scheduled hours.
Requirements
- Active CNA/MA/PCA Certification from the State of Connecticut (preferred), or equivalent experience
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Compassion, patience, and dedication to patient care
- Computer literacy and typing skills
- Ability to work effectively with a team
Schedule
Part-time, 16 hours per week: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Week 1: Sunday/Friday
Week 2: Thursday/Sunday
Pay
Wage Range: $21.25 - $25.00 hourly
