Residential Technician
Job Purpose
This position is a direct service position, which assists with the orientation of clients to the unit, transportation of clients outside the facility, and maintaining a therapeutic and safe environment.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid Texas Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements to drive a high occupancy passenger vehicle
- Complies with Department of Transportation (DOT) standards
Agency Requirements
- Participates in agency Emergency Preparedness and Environmental Safety programs
- May be assigned as a key/essential staff level function during critical events or for sustaining business continuity
- Work schedules may change based on agency needs
- Must maintain physical presence on site, including regular attendance and punctuality
- Approval required for all Paid Time Off (PTO) and Overtime
- Must follow agency dress code and physical presence requirements

Insurance Eligibility
- Full-time employees begin 1st of the month following hire date
- Market-driven positions begin immediately after hire date
- Select part-time market-driven positions are eligible for most insurance plans
- Substitute status jobs are not eligible for benefits
