Residential Supervisor - Full-Time

About the role

Join a dedicated team focused on making a positive impact in the lives of youth aged 16-24 through a government-funded education and vocational training program.

Responsibilities

• Supervising residential activities and ensuring student needs are met promptly and professionally.
• Enforcing laws, rules, and policies established by the Safety and Security Department.
• Managing the Residential Advisors' duties and compliance with program standards.
• Conducting staff meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations.
• Maintaining orderly living conditions, promoting self-discipline, and modeling professional behavior.
• Overseeing social skills and student leadership activities, providing guidance, and addressing student issues.
• Ensuring compliance through regular audits and assisting students during emergencies or traumatic events.
• Participating in staff recruitment, training, and ensuring departmental diversity goals are achieved.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with two years’ experience working with youth and young adults.
• Preferred experience with Job Corps programs.
• Ability to communicate effectively, motivate staff, and relate to disadvantaged youth.
• Must obtain a State driver’s license and CPR/First Aid & AED certification.
