Responsibilities

As a Residential Supervisor/Cottage Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations within the cottage setting and assist the Residential Director with admissions, scheduling, and on-boarding of Adolescent Treatment Workers (ATW). You will provide direct care for residents and perform all duties expected of Adolescent Treatment Workers (ATW), including training and supervising assigned ATW’s across all shifts. Your role includes oversight of employee relations and performance, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local government regulations, and maintaining regular communication to enhance program effectiveness.

• Ensure a safe, trauma-informed therapeutic milieu by maintaining an active presence, providing support, role modeling, coaching, supervision, and guidance through behaviors, regular supervision, coaching, corrective action, and completing reviews for all assigned staff.
• Foster team development by overseeing and maintaining staff cohesiveness and functioning through appropriate implementation of orientation and continued team development.
• Monitor and ensure staff provides continuous supervision of clients through face-to-face contact and support, maintaining adequate staff ratios according to licensing requirements and accreditation standards.
• Ensure that staff interactions and evidence-based interventions with clients are professional and promote recovery.
• Enforce rules, policies, and regulations of the therapeutic milieu.
• Utilize and oversee the proper use of crisis de-escalation interventions and physical restraint interventions in accordance with agency policy.
• Comply with emergency and crisis intervention procedures and implement them in a calm and expedient manner.
• Participate in program development and implementation of programmatic changes, improvements, and work procedures.
• Provide guidance to ATW’s in resolving conflicts in the cottages.
• Assist with planning and supervising activities for residents; manage and maintain receipts for activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of youth and their families, sharing information only with professionals involved in a manner that serves the best interest of the child, in compliance with HIPAA.
• Flexible schedule is required (may include nights, weekends, holidays) and floating on-call responsibilities to support ATWs.

Requirements

• At least two (2) years of college or a high school diploma/GED. Bachelor’s degree in Social Services or related field preferred.
• One year of work experience with vulnerable at-risk youth.
• Three (3) years plus experience working in a youth treatment setting and two (2) years supervisory experience.

Pay

$55,000 - $65,000 per year. DailyPay available.

Schedule

Full-Time. Shift varies and may include nights, weekends, holidays, and floating on-call responsibilities.
