Responsibilities
- Directly oversee, supervise, and train management/Direct Professional Service staff per Eisenhower standards.
- Serve as a leader and role model on campus.
- Ensure safety, security and well-being of all resident's while promoting a supportive and positive living environment and following clinical guidelines as far as each resident plan of care.
- Ensure residential units run in accordance with facility/corporate standards.
- Ensure that funder, medical, and clinical plans of care are followed by staff assigned to the residential units.
- Collaborate and partner with all departments to assist with developing/managing plan of cares and a continued effort to improve quality of life for each resident.
Management/Operations/Coordination
- Assigning duties and responsibilities to staff members and monitoring performance.
- Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to staff members.
- Maintain monthly drills uploaded into EMR/agency management system.
- Create recreation calendars on a monthly basis for ideas/activities of outings for the month for residents.
- Coordinate and schedule all staff meetings for unit staff.
- Ensure staff timecards are completed within deadlines.
- Ensure client schedules are printed out weekly and posted on residents' door for the week.
- Manage resident funds, including vehicle logs, DPN submissions, SAM, and staffing/schedules.
- Manage employee relations with Human Resources.
- Audit Direct Data Sheets for accuracy and completeness.
- Record weights/vitals within the EMR.
- Develop and implement new hire staff training/shadowing within your units.
- Ensure day program attendance, where applicable.
- Ensure documentation compliance with EC/Statewide requirements.
- Review and process incident reports.
- Attend scheduled shift reports.
- Attend all required meetings as assigned.
Residential Units
- Manage floor maintenance and quality of care.
- Ensure staffing levels meet compliance and needs.
- Ensure recipient rights posters are up to date on the unit along with any other needed as assigned.
- Collaborate with CMH Resident Participation and treatment team to assist with developing a plan of care/IPOS.
- Coordinate/Team Meetings/Case Review Meetings.
- Ensure that the IPOS and other clinical goals are implemented with the residential unit staff, as trained by clinical team members.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of management experience
- 3+ years of healthcare residential experience
