Residential Specialist - Per Diem Overnight shift

About the role

The Residential Specialist position is a part-time, per diem overnight shift opportunity located in Manchester, NH 03101. This role is part of a larger organization dedicated to helping individuals achieve mental health recovery through various programs and services.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in developing skills for living independently
• Aid clients in achieving their wellness and recovery goals
• Work with clients in both residential and community settings
• Engage in direct 1:1 and group activities
• Maintain apartment maintenance and transportation for clients
• Create and maintain accurate documentation
• Communicate effectively with the treatment team

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and automobile with liability insurance
• Clean background and driving record check
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or education/counseling from an accredited college or university

Skills, Competencies, And Abilities

• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of mental health/therapeutic interventions
• Time management and organizational skills
• Basic office skills including answering telephones, taking messages, and using computers and email
• Ability to climb stairs and maintain physical activity throughout the day shift

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and automobile with liability insurance

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, rehab counseling, education/counseling, or a related field from an accredited university
