About the role

As a Residential Solar Operations Specialist, you are a member of one of IGS’s fast-paced emerging businesses. You will perform operations-related tasks such as customer billing, customer support via phone, email and an IGS in-house ticketing system, data analysis, reporting, facilitating operational issues with internal Residential Solar team and EPCs, and supporting the value proposition for customers. This role directly contributes to IGS’s goal of scaling our Residential Solar business quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Work within IGS’s proprietary technology platform, document and contract management, and collaborate with IGS’s Sales and Installation partners to ensure a smoothly operating business.
  • Partner with IGS’s shared service groups such as billing and collections, IT, finance and accounting, legal and regulatory, and marketing to sustain business operations and deliver upon the business’s strategic objectives.
  • Respond to and support internal customer service teams to address and resolve any escalated customer-related concerns/inquiries.
  • Complete projects for Residential Solar related to process improvements, market research and consumer compliance.
  • Develop and leverage user guides and job aids to carry out daily tasks and cross-train other team members.
  • Review and audit completed work for accuracy, make corrections when necessary, and timely report status to management.
  • Accomplish team goals, operate with integrity, and help shape IGS Solar into a world-class solar company.
  • Perform other responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience

  • 1–3 years previous customer service experience
  • Energy experience a plus
  • Basic skills in all MS Office Applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, SharePoint)
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred

Pay

Salary range: $45,870.00 – $73,390.00 (base pay only; incentive earnings such as commissions or bonuses are not included). This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan based on company performance.
