Key Responsibilities
- Experience with these specific alarm panels: Qolsys 4 and 5, Honeywell (Vista 20 and 128), DSC (1864,1616,), Concord 4, and familiar with others such as DMP, 2GIG and Ademco.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical problems.
- Proficient in drilling for, dropping, and running wires in multi-level homes.
- Replace/Install system components as assigned: add-on’s, conversions, takeovers, new installs, and service.
- Able to properly maintain and record inventory transactions job to job.
- Install and test the operations of all equipment to ensure proper functionality and signal verification required to establish service.
- Identify opportunities to improve the use and functionality of the customer’s system and provide those recommendations.
- Maintain safety practices to prevent against injury and damage to property.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace / job site, ensuring customers satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized fleet vehicle.
Requirements
- 5 plus years of industry experience in residential alarm installations.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality results.
- Relevant certifications and licenses are a plus.
- H.S. Diploma or GED.
- Good driving record and Valid driver’s license.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Working knowledge of how an alarm system operates.
- Must be ok with climbing ladders and working at heights.
- Must be ok working in tight spaces such as crawlspaces, attics and basements.
