Residential Security Agent - Armed (Seasonal)

About the role

Surefox North America Inc is a veteran-owned company dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment. We are currently seeking an experienced Full-Time seasonal Residential Security Agent to join our team in the Lake Tahoe, CA area.

Responsibilities

• Provide close protection and security for high-profile clients at residential properties;
• Ensure the safety and security of assigned residential properties;
• Maintain and monitor security systems, conduct regular patrols;
• Respond to and address security incidents and emergencies;
• Interact professionally with residents, visitors, and contractors;
• Complete accurate and detailed incident reports;
• Inspect residential properties to identify and mitigate security risks;
• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services;
• Follow all company policies and procedures;
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid California Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) Permit without work restrictions;
• Valid California Exposed Firearms Permit;
• Valid California Guard Card;
• Pass an extensive background check and drug screening;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities;
• Flexible availability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays;
• Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening;
• High school diploma or equivalent;
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to see, hear, speak, and write clearly;
• Ability to twist, turn, bend, stand, climb stairs and walk;
• Occasional pushing/pulling/carrying/lifting of objects up to 50 lbs, including climbing stairs;
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods;
• Use hands to handle, hold or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with arms, and talk or hear;
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus;
• May occasionally be required to work outdoors in inclement weather;
• May be required in some positions to have sufficient dexterity, mobility, and physical ability, and stamina to restrain individuals and respond to clients' needs;
• May experience occasional confrontational situations where "Use of Force" and escalation of force may be required.
