Duties & Essential Functions
- Perform estate security and physical protection for client family in a residential setting.
- Provide superior concierge-level, customer service-focused security.
- Provide security and logistical support for special events and activities on property.
- Provide access-control utilizing sound judgment and client provided tools such as access control systems or access control lists and logs, to include visitor processing as a fixed function or temporary responsibility when needed.
- Perform protective planning and threat vulnerability assessments.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding any sensitive information on the client, physical protection means, and methods.
- Interact professionally with team members, internal family, house staff, external individuals, and law enforcement officials.
- Respond to emergency and non-emergency situations with a prioritized sense of urgency and maintain open communication flow with management staff.
- Deescalate tense situations that arise at the client's residence.
- Detect, investigate, and deny access of unauthorized persons.
- Understand the client’s risks, including media, business and personal travel, domestic and foreign operations.
- Participate in special event planning on property to ensure access control, confidentiality, and other security matters are identified through a written plan accepted by the client.
- Follow company and client-directed Standard Operating Procedures.
- Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must reside in or near Los Angeles County, CA.
- Must pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- GED or High School Diploma/ College Degree preferred.
- 3-5+ years of military and/or security experience in a position related to essential functions.
- Must have a valid US State-issued driver’s license at hire and throughout employment.
- Must possess a valid US passport during the entire tenure of employment.
- Able to multi-task and organize workload.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite/MS-365.
- Able to work in a close team environment.
- Licenses that are required to operate in the state where duties are performed.
- Current California BSIS Guard Card is required.
- Current California BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit is required.
- Active California CCW (Concealed Carry Weapon) permit.
- Current CPR/AED Certification is required.
