About the role

The Sales Advisor role at ADT is designed to help protect and connect families, businesses, and larger commercial customers. You'll use your strong communication and creative skills to demonstrate the value of our innovative security and smart home solutions to customers, customize each system to fit their needs, and provide post-installation follow-ups.

Responsibilities

  • Use strong communication and creativity to explain our products and services in-depth and recommend the right solutions to customers.
  • Work in a dynamic, collaborative environment, working closely with customers and coworkers.
  • Visit customers at their homes to provide solutions, listen and build trust, customize systems to fit clients' spaces, lifestyles, and concerns, and conduct post-installation follow-ups.
  • Cultivate new business opportunities by identifying and generating new sales leads.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Willingness to travel within a designated territory using your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record required; additional licensing may be needed based on location.
  • Comfortable using technology to stay organized, efficient, and accountable in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with an entrepreneurial mindset; you thrive on uncovering new leads and closing deals that deliver real value.
  • A strong communicator and natural relationship builder, able to consult with customers, understand their needs, and guide them to the right solution.
  • Adaptable and flexible; you excel in dynamic environments and enjoy learning new systems and approaches.

Qualifications

  • Consumer sales experience is preferred but not required.

Pay

Compensation is solely based on the individual’s sales volume. New sales advisors can expect to earn up to $95,000, while experienced sales advisors can earn over $150,000. Additional pay includes up to $4,000 for the first 8 weeks of training.

Schedule

This role involves providing solutions by visiting customers at their homes. The schedule is flexible to accommodate you and your customers’ needs.
