Description

Tuuci is seeking an experienced NYC based Residential Sales Manager to chart strategy, manage key relationships, and drive residential sales in the Northeast US and Canada.

Position Summary

The Sales Manager reports to the Miami-based Residential Sales Director and is responsible for Tuuci business in all residential market segments including high end retail and trade showrooms throughout the Northeast and Canadian regions. In some regions, independent reps assist with retail and showroom management. The Sales Manager is responsible for hiring, training, and managing those independent reps, as well as securing and leading relationships with key showrooms and retailers. This position works closely with the Miami-based residential sales team: Sales Director, dedicated Account Manager, and Customer Service Account Manager.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize growth opportunities; create and deliver a multi-year strategic plan.
  • Take initiative and responsibility to own key relationships with clients, showrooms, retailers, and independent sales reps.
  • Utilize Salesforce for efficient account management, analysis, and reporting.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, operations, and engineering teams to deliver effective solutions to client needs.
  • Travel regularly to engage with partners and clients, and attend industry events.
  • Continuously develop and update product knowledge to better serve client needs.
  • Build connections with key decision makers and knowledge of targeted markets.

Education And Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, design, or operations within a related industry.
  • Understanding of interior design profession.
  • Design, furniture, or luxury brand experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to develop and nurture business relationships.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to collaborate effectively cross-functionally.
  • Poledic ability to present and convey information to a group.
  • Self-starter with ability to use independent judgment.
  • Creative problem solver.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Prowess understanding and conveying technical information.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, including time management.
  • Strong work ethic and integrity.
  • Passionate about client development, service, and relationships.
  • Willingness to regularly travel for client visits and industry events.
  • Proficiency in, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with Salesforce preferred.
