About the Role
Aspire Health and Community Services offers a rewarding opportunity as a Residential Rehab Educator/Counselor. In this role, you will play an essential part in enabling adults with mental illness to live actively and independently. Your work will support our mission that mental health is the foundation of overall health, fostering a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with behavioral health issues in goal setting and achievement.
- Support clients with activities of daily living, engagement in meaningful activities, and socialization.
- Provide transportation and assist with the administration of medication.
- Implement treatment plans to help clients reach goals and manage symptoms.
- Help clients develop independence and enhance their quality of life.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent; coursework in psychology, human services, social work, or health sciences toward an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience working in health and human services and/or related education or training.
- Patience and ability to interact with individuals with disabilities.
- Dependability, flexibility, and a desire to help others.
- Computer proficiency and ability to learn an electronic health record system.
- Current valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and access to a personal vehicle (required at some sites).
- CPR, First Aid, and MAP certifications will be required.

Pay
Compensation is based on candidate experience, qualifications, and certifications. The annual salary range for this full-time (40 hours per week) position is $20–$20 USD.
Schedule
Sunday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.
