Residential Real Estate Loan Officer

About the role

The ideal candidate will have 3 plus years of Mortgage Origination experience and the connections/experience to source local business. This position will have some referrals but a candidate with a current portfolio of realtors, developers, and centers of influence will excel.

Responsibilities

• Source and originate residential mortgage loans
• Work with clients to understand their financial needs and goals
• Manage the loan process from application to closing
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Build and maintain relationships with local business contacts
• Manage a portfolio of loan types including Conventional, FHA, VA, Jumbo, Construction, Bridge, and HELOC

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of mortgage origination experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to meet sales targets and manage a loan portfolio
• Knowledge of various loan types and underwriting guidelines

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Pass a background check
• Meet minimum credit score requirements

Skills

• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
