About the role
The ideal candidate will have 3 plus years of Mortgage Origination experience and the connections/experience to source local business. This position will have some referrals but a candidate with a current portfolio of realtors, developers, and centers of influence will excel.
Responsibilities
- Source and originate residential mortgage loans
- Work with clients to understand their financial needs and goals
- Manage the loan process from application to closing
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Build and maintain relationships with local business contacts
- Manage a portfolio of loan types including Conventional, FHA, VA, Jumbo, Construction, Bridge, and HELOC
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of mortgage origination experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet sales targets and manage a loan portfolio
- Knowledge of various loan types and underwriting guidelines
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Pass a background check
- Meet minimum credit score requirements
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
