Residential Program Educator

About the role

The Program Educator ensures the safety and well-being of individuals assigned to their care. They are responsible for executing the residential program and maintaining continuity of care within the assigned residence.

Responsibilities

• Develop person-centered programming aligned with the HealthE 6 Model based on each individual's interests and abilities
• Train and supervise Direct Care Staff
• Serve as a communication liaison between the Residential Director, direct care staff, residents, external agencies, interdisciplinary teams, and families
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Center for Discovery policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to train and supervise staff
• Ability to interact with other departments and work as a team member
• Minimum two years supervisory experience
• Flexibility in hours and ability to be on-call at times is essential
