Responsibilities
- Complete Orkin’s award-winning training to learn the skills and knowledge required to serve customers.
- Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
- Follow a route schedule and daily operation schedule within an assigned territory, ensuring timely and safe arrival at each customer’s location.
- Operate a company vehicle safely and maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment.
- Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
- Serve as a problem solver for each customer with empathy by listening to and understanding their needs, then recommending efficient and innovative solutions.
- Meet with customers in their businesses or homes to explain actions taken, ensure satisfaction, and discuss additional services for peace of mind.
- Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s property (training provided).
- Communicate with customers to explain actions taken, ensure satisfaction, and discuss additional pest management services.
- Complete all required service-related documentation using a handheld device for speed and accuracy.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid).
- Ability to work in the field independently, manage route-based assignments, and interact with customers in businesses or homes.

Work Environment
Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform duties with or without accommodations:
- Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), which may include an OSHA-compliant respirator.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
