Homestead Maintenance & Remodeling Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Residential Painter to join our Field Operations team. This full-time role is ideal for a seasoned technician who takes pride in delivering clean, professional painting results as part of broader residential remodeling projects.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all phases of interior and exterior residential painting, including prep, priming, cutting-in, rolling, and finishing.
  • Patch, sand, and prep drywall surfaces for painting or other finishes.
  • Ensure clean lines, smooth finishes, and color accuracy on every job.
  • Install and touch up trim, baseboards, and moldings as needed.
  • Assist with related remodeling tasks, including light framing, drywall installation and finishing, cabinetry, and surface prep.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure protection of property at all times.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines while working on job sites.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers and fellow team members to maintain project timelines and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in residential painting and remodeling.
  • Expert-level skills in interior and exterior painting applications and surface prep.
  • Additional proficiency in drywall repair/finishing, trim work, and cabinetry is a strong plus.
  • High school diploma or GED required; trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, clean workmanship, and a commitment to quality.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Pay

$24.00–$30.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Schedule

  • Full-Time
  • Monday–Friday, with weekend availability as needed
