Residential Multi-Family Property Manager

About the Role

The Property Manager is responsible for all property operations. The purpose of the role is to effectively manage and coordinate persons, activities, and available resources to accomplish property objectives, including maximizing occupancy levels and property values. The Property Manager will utilize industry-specific software such as OneSite and RealPage to streamline lease administration and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of property operations including tenant relations, lease administration, rent collection, and maintenance coordination.
• Ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations and fair housing laws to maintain eligibility and avoid legal issues.
• Conduct regular building inspections to identify and address maintenance needs and safety concerns promptly.
• Hire, terminate, train, and supervise all on-site staff, including conducting annual performance reviews, reviewing and approving timesheets, and instructing staff about employee procedures and guidelines.
• Assist in creating budgets for the upcoming calendar year.
• Physically walk and inspect the property on a regular basis.

Requirements

• Certification in Property Management (e.g., CPM, ARM) or related professional credentials (preferred).
• 3+ years of proven experience as a property manager.
• Strong knowledge of lease agreements, fair housing regulations, and property maintenance standards.
• Proficiency in RealPage products or similar property management software.
• Experience at a large property (400+ units).

Pay

$115,000.00 per year
