Community Mental Health Affiliates, Inc. (CMHA) is a private non-profit treatment provider headquartered in New Britain, with seven locations throughout the city and in Waterbury. We partner with clients and the community to promote recovery from mental illness and substance use, treating more than 7,500 adults and children each year. About the Role
This is a full-time float position located at 66 Clinic Dr, New Britain, CT. The employee’s primary assignment will be at the main location; however, they may be required to provide coverage at other residential programs as needed.
Schedule
Thursday – Monday, 10:00am–6:00pm.
Pay
The salary range for this position starts at $19.00 per hour. Compensation is determined by years of relevant experience, education, skills, and internal pay equity. CMHA also considers benefits and paid time-off as part of the overall compensation package.
Responsibilities
- Provides support to the program team by assisting clients with achieving daily living skills and routine activities/chores.
- Provides staff coverage to the program as identified by program schedule.
- Assists clients with maintaining all outside appointments and activities by providing transportation and reporting back to program staff on clients’ accomplishments and information related to client care.
